Grace Community church, in its recent construction, used a “post and beam” type building and used the “welded wire sandwich” panel for walls, giving an equivalent of an R-40 value insulation. The roof is a metal standing seam, with a 3.5″ insulation panel, yielding an R-28 value. The results have been outstanding.
Our heating and cooling for a building that is used seven days a week has been costing about 4.5 cents per square foot.
The acoustical value is another great advantage with the panels. The interior walls provide exceptional value that aids in classrooms and offices. the conventional stud and sheet-rock wall still allows sound to carry from room to room, but this material deadens the sound between rooms.
We are very pleased with the results we have experienced with these panels.
